Recall: Kawasaki Z900 e Z900RS

Está a decorrer um recall a nível Mundial dos modelos da Kawasaki Z900 e Z900RS (MY18) em virtude de terem sido detectados problemas potencialmente graves com a cablagem do sistema de travagem na roda traseira.

Segundo avançam algumas publicações, serão cerca de 10.000 unidades a necessitar de intervenção, com substituição da cablagem, pois o sistema de travagem pode falhar em utilização.

A subustituição será, naturalmente, sem encargos para o cliente.

"Z900 ABS and Z900RS models are recalled to the dealer because the rear brake hose and the rear wheel rotation sensor wire may be positioned incorrectly, allowing them to make contact with the rear tire. If the brake hose wears out, the braking pressure can drop out and if the rotating sensor wire is broken, the ABS can no longer function properly and even fall out. In both cases this can lead to a dangerous situation with a possible crash as a result."
