Recall: Suzuki GSX-R1000 / GSX-R1000R

Está a ser levado a cabo um recall a nível Mundial para o modelo GSX-R1000 / GSX-R1000R por ter sido detectado pela própria marca o potencial perigo da corrente partir.
A razão encontra-se descrita, entre outros sites, neste parágrafo de um artigo publicado na Visordown.com (http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-general-news/suzuki-gsx-r1000-and-gsx-r1000r-recalled):
"(….)SUZUKI’S GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R are being recalled over a potential fault which the firm says could cause the drive chain to break.
Shifting up from first, the gearbox could find neutral instead of second, resulting in high engine revs, according to Suzuki. If the rider then hooks second without using the clutch, excessive load could suddenly be placed on the chain by the high engine speed.(….)"
A "curiosidade" nisto é que já em 2014 a marca teve de fazer um recall a largos milhares de unidades (de vários anos) e também com razões de preocupação na corrente...

"GSX-R1000R/RZ. The affected vehicles were manufactured between 10 March 2017 and 7 January 2019. Due to improper communication control program, unnecessary error signals are transferred between the inertial sensor and ABS unit when the battery voltage is too low. As a result, the ABS function may not work, increasing the risk of an accident."
