"WHAT'S NEW? In his career since the late nineties, the People, especially in the S version, is the Taiwanese answer to Honda SH, the undisputed best seller of scooters. Recently renewed, the People S on show at Eicma 2018 now combines the 300 displacement to the smaller 150 and 125 cc versions.
300 FULL The engine is a four-valve 299 cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling and Euro 4 homologation: it delivers 21.2 kW of power and 30.1 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It is the same as the People 300 Gti and we find it set in a trellis frame made of steel tubes and molded plates, with an oscillating single arm. On the suspension side, instead, there are hydraulic forks of 37 mm and 110 mm of travel, double adjustable shock absorber with 100 mm travel.
ABS BOSCH Remaining on the chassis, the brakes are discs both at the front and rear: discs in both cases with a diameter of 260 mm, assisted by the latest double-channel ABS evolution by Bosch.
FULL LED The new look of the Kymco People S 300 points to more decisive and marked lines, also underlined by the full led optical units (including arrows). The saddle, 810 mm high from the ground, while the 16 '' wheels have a split five-spoke design and fit 110 to the front and 140 to the rear tires.
AT THE CASH The preparation of this high wheel is rather complete. Luggage rack with integrated handle and a 35 liter top case , analog / digital instrumentation with Kymco NOODOE information system (to connect the scooter to the smartphone) are in fact standard. The People S 300 will go on sale in the second half of 2019 at a price yet to be defined, but which could be assumed to be around 3,800 euros."
